Here’s a totally cool new product from Scotch-Brite – a Scrubbing Dish Cloth.
I was lucky enough to receive a free sample to try a couple of days ago. I’ve had the chance to try the Scrubbing Dish Cloth, and this is my review of the product.

The Scrubbing Dish Cloth has different material on each side. One side is soft somewhat like a regular dish cloth for regular washing and wiping. The other side has a raised dots pattern that’s for scrubbing the hard stuff.

The Scotch-Brite Scrubbing Dish Cloth is available in various colors: mint, coral, navy, brown, and gray.

Pros:
I like the variety of colors to choose from. I personally prefer the mint and coral colors. I also really like the 2-in-1 combination. You don’t have to switch out what you’re washing and cleaning with when you need to scrub something that’s won’t wash off with just the regular dish cloth. I also like that the scrub side is safe for non-stick cookware since I have a lot of pots, skillets, and griddles that are non-stick.
After washing up a few somewhat icky dishes (I left them icky on purpose to see how the Scrubbing Dish Cloth would perform), I am happy that the Scrubbing Dish Cloth rinses out very easily. It’s made of 92% polyester and 8% nylon, so it dries quickly also. That’s a plus – you don’t always have a wet dish cloth laying or hanging.
Cons:
So far, the only the I am not too happy about is that you can’t use the Scrubbing Dish Cloth to wipe up a spill. You can use it to clean after wiping up a spill with something absorbent, but not the spill itself.
The material it’s made from works great for washing and scrubbing and wiping, but not for cleaning up the spill itself. Where you might use a regular dish cloth that would absorb a spill, this Scrubbing Dish Cloth isn’t made to do that.
Pricing:
The Scotch-Brite Scrubbing Dish Cloth is less than $7 for a two pack on Amazon, making this a very good deal. If you choose the navy or grey colors, it’s less than $5 for a pack of two. The pricing makes this product very affordable for anyone and makes replacing the product cost efficient.
Product Recommendation:
The product description says that the Scotch-Brite Scrubbing Dish Cloth is washing machine and dryer safe. Thus far, I have not yet had the need to use the washer and dryer for the Scotch-Brite Scrubbing Dish Cloth.
Overall, I find the Scotch-Brite Scrubbing Dish Cloth a product that I would like to continue using. The price is low enough to keep replacements on hand for when the current Dish Cloth wears out, although I would think the product would last for quite a while. That makes this an even better deal for the money – the fact that it will last for a good while and you won’t need to replace the product for some time.
