Add some slices of raw potatoes or apples to make sure they are attracted to it and soon you will have dead fruit flies floating around in your home.

You can also make your own fly trap by mixing 1/4 cup each of: sugar, white vinegar, rice, oats, and peanut butter. Place this mixture into a small disposable container and put a plastic wrap cover on top with tiny holes punched in. Then secure the wrap with a rubber band. Check daily for any dead flies that may have fallen down. Toss the container (wrapped securely).
